Dr Samar Shefta

We are very excited about Dr Shefta joining us as our Registered Manager here at Paisley Care, so we asked her to tell us a little about herself.....

"Having worked as a doctor in the NHS for over 18 years, I've had a lot of interaction and collaborative projects with Social Care teams.

When my colleagues and I discussed our passion to create a unique private care service, it was an easy yes for me! This is because my work as a General Practitioner allows me to provide compassionate, evidence-based support to my patients; and my personal life as a foster parent and mother provides me with understanding, patience and warmth. I also have multiple years of experience of teaching and training frontline healthcare staff and students and look forward to being able to train and support our own care staff.

I hope to be able to bring my empathy to everyone involved with Paisley Care and aim to lead from the front. I aspire to promote the entire teams' wellbeing and provide the personalised touches that we so often seem to miss in this day and age.

I don't believe in “clients” accessing our services and look forward to welcoming our “members”, who will be part of the team and involved in every decision along their care journey. Paisley Care reflects our values as a team and our desire to develop a care service that truly treats our members as part of the family. We look forward to welcoming you to the Paisley Care Team!"
